Updates of 2018: 

  • On 24th June 2018, Enablement Nepal organized one day orientation program on "Access to Justice for person with disabilities in Nepal" for 30 youth activists, currently engaged in the "Count me" campaign led by National Federation of the Disabled - Nepal (NFDN). This orientation program was organized in coordination with NFDN under the Open Society Foundations funded project. Youth activists will further conduct advocacy campaigns in different municipalities of Kathmandu district with in aim to promote Access to justice for person with disabilities in Nepal. Please click the link below to view the news published regarding the orientation program https://himalayapost.com/archives/51054

 

  • On 6th June, 2018 Enablement Nepal organized one day orientation program on "Access to justice of person with disabilities in Nepal" in Kamalamai, municipality of Sindhuli. This program was organized in the presence of Deputy mayor of Kamalamai municpality, Mrs. Manju Devkota and Sindhuli District court lawyer, Mr. Shukraraj Thing. 

 

  •  One day orientation program on "Ensuring access to justice for person with disabilities in Nepal" was organized by Enablement Nepal on 4th April 2018 at Sunkhani village of Dolkha. The participants were women with disabilities from Sunkhani who are engaged in self help groups and micro credit and savings. This program was conducted in coordination ward chairperson.  

 

  • On March 18, 2018 Enablement Nepal organized an advocacy workshop aiming to promote access to justice for person with disabilities in Nepal in the presence of mayor of Kathmandu district Mrs. Hari Prabha Khadgi and special guests president of National Federation of the Disabled - Nepal, Mr. Shudarson Subedi and Access to Justice Expert, Advocate Mr. Sunil Pokharel. For the published news regarding this advocacy program please click the link: http://www.abilitymanch.com/news/381
