Enablement-Nepal courses

With this newsletter we wish to inform you on our documentary that has just been released as well as on the courses that we will offer in the second half of 2015, beginning of 2016. 

Documentary "CBR for Inclusive Development"

We are proud to release our documentary called "CBR for Inclusive Development". Filmmaker Thomas Koopman spent one month in Nepal to visit several project sites of the Karuna Foundation Nepal. The documentary highlights the key position of CBR facilitators. You will find good practices as well as challenges covered in all domains of the CBR Matrix. Brochures with more information on the below-mentioned courses, course fees and application forms can be found on our website. Registration will only be complete after submission of the application form and training needs assessment form (to be found on our website or on request by email) as well as after receipt of a guarantee letter of financial support by the registration deadline.  

Training of Trainers

Dates: 28 September- 9 October 2015
Place: Dhulikhel Lodge, Kathmandu, Nepal - in collaboration with Enablement-Nepal
Target group: experienced staff in the field of CBR and disability inclusive development with a role in capacity building
Description: this course will be directed at training skills within the context of CBR and disability inclusive development. Most emphasis is put on skills improvement and therefore the course will be very practical of nature. Students will learn how to use their own expertise in CBR and inclusive development as a basis for human resource development

Monitoring and Evaluation in Disability and Development

Dates: 11 January - 22 January 2016
Place: Dhulikhel Lodge, Kathmandu, Nepal, in collaboration with Enablement-Nepal
Target group: managers, policy makers and evaluators in CBR and disability inclusive development
Description: Participants will be equipped with the required competencies to monitor and evaluate programmes in order to draw lessons from experiences and set the direction for future developments. Field assignment, debate, real life case and exercises are among a large variety of training methodologies. The newly developed Impact Evaluation Toolkit, which is the fruit of a joint project between the University College of London, the University of Cape Town and the Royal Tropical Institute of The Netherlands, will become an innovative ingredient of this course.
